CONTEST RULES
GIVEAWAY DESCRIPTION:
The ”AMBI Making Black History Today Contest (“Contest”) will begin on Friday, February 2, 2024, and end on Friday, February 28, 2024 at 11:59 pm EST (“Contest Period”). This Contest will be conducted on social media with nomination entries and the Voting of 10 finalists will be available through a Landing Page on Ambi.com. A total of three (3) winners will be awarded prizes- GRAND PRIZE WINNER will be awarded $500 Cash (via Check), one $100 Family Dollar Gift Card and one AMBI Product Bundle to include 8 Ambi skincare products-Ambi Exfoliating Wash, Ambi Black Soap Facial Cleanser, Ambi Fade Cream, Ambi Fade Serum Retinol, Ambi Facial Moisturizer with SPF-30 (1.7), Ambi Cocoa Butter Cleansing Bar Soap, Ambi Black Soap Cleansing Bar Soap and Ambi Complexion Cleansing Bar Soap. One SECOND PRIZE WINNER will be awarded one $100 Family Dollar Gift Card and one AMBI Product Bundle to include 8 Ambi Skincare products. One THIRD PRIZE WINNER will be awarded one AMBI Product Bundle to include 8 Ambi Skincare products.
HOW TO ENTER / EXECUTION:
Legal residents of the United States and are 18 years of age and older will be able to take part in this Contest. To participate in the Contest, consumers must do the following:
- Contest participants must “like” the AMBI Making Black History Today Contest Instagram post, “follow” AMBI Skincare and Family Dollar on Instagram accounts (@ambiskincare @familydollar) and “tag” the person they are nominating and tell us why they are being nominated in the comments section of the “Contest” post.
- All entries/ nominations must be received by 11:59pm Eastern Standard time on February 15, 2024 or they will be void.
- All audiences must meet the below-listed Entry Requirements.
- In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of a participant’s online entry, the entry will be deemed to have been made by the authorized holder of the e-mail account at the time the entry was made.
- Finalists: Ten (10) nominees will be randomly selected and announced the AMBI Instagram account(@ambiskincare) on February 19, 2024
- Voting: Ten (10) Finalists will be spotlighted on the ambi.com contest Landing Page, where voting will be available from February 19-28, 2024 (ending at 11:59pmEST) Votes will be tabulated on February 29, 2024
- Winners will be selected based on the number of votes received via voting portal on ambi.com Contest Landing Page. Winners will receive a DM/Email on behalf of AMBI Skincare announcing that they have 24 hours to respond via DM/Email to claim their prize. If they do not respond within the allotted time, AMBI Enterprises, LLC. reserves the right to move on to another contestant. Winners will be announced on March 1, 2024 on Ambi Instagram & ambi.com.
- Winners will be asked to provide their Full Name, Phone Number, Email Address, Mailing Address, birthdate and gender to claim the Prize.
- Any registration information and/or submissions provided by participants for purposes of this Contest will be disclosed to AMBI Enterprises, LLC. (“Company”) only.
- All decisions made by AMBI Enterprises, LLC. management regarding any aspect of this Contest is final.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
- Contest Participants must “like” the AMBI Making Black History Today Contest post on Instagram(IG)
- Follow Ambi on social media IG @ambiskincare + follow Family Dollar IG @familydollar
- Tag the person you're nominating in the comments section of the contest post and tell us why they're making black history in your community today
- Submissions must not infringe upon any rights of any third party including without limitation, copyright, trademark and right of publicity or privacy
ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:
- The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States and D. C. who are 18 years of age and older.
- Employees of AMBI Enterprises, LLC., its subsidiaries, affiliates, general sponsors, advertisers, competitors, promotional partners, and members of the immediate families or those living in the same households (whether related or not) of any of the above are NOT eligible to participate or win in this Contest. For purposes of this Contest, immediate family members mean spouses, parents, grandparents, children, and siblings and their respective spouses.
- Participants may only win once during this Contest.
- Persons who have won a prize in another sweepstakes, giveaway or promotion of any kind from AMBI Enterprises, LLC. within the six (6) month period immediately preceding the start date of this Contest are not eligible to participate. Only one person per family or household (whether related or not) may win in any promotion from AMBI Enterprises, LLC. during any six (6) month period.

- Dates and times of receiving prizes promoted by Contest sponsors are subject to change and those changes are deemed to be beyond the control of AMBI Enterprises, LLC.
- Prizes will be awarded only upon winner verification and final approval by AMBI Enterprises, LLC.
- Prize winner must be claimed via Email/DM correspondence by no later than (24) hours after being contacted or the Prize will be forfeited.
- Prizes will be provided via US mail upon receipt and confirmation of winner(s) mailing address.
- No substitution of Prize is offered, no transfer of Prize to a third party is permitted and non-cash Prizes may not be redeemed for cash value.
- All Contest winners must sign and date official AMBI Enterprises, LLC. release and waiver forms as requested. Failure to do so will result in the winner forfeiting the Prize.
- If for any reason a Contest winner decides not to accept the Prize awarded, the winner will be required to sign a release form acknowledging forfeiture of the Prize.
- It will be at the discretion of the Contest sponsor and / or Contest administrator if another entrant is to be selected as the winner if time permits.
- In the event any winner is found to violate these Official Rules or is otherwise determined by AMBI Enterprises, LLC., in its sole discretion to be ineligible, he/she may be required to forfeit the prize or to reimburse AMBI Enterprises, LLC and/or any sponsor for the stated value of the prize if such a violation is found after the prize has been used by winner.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
- Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes associated with the receipt of the Prize.
- Any person winning over $600.00 in prizes will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year for tax purposes and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS as required by law.
- No purchase necessary. Contest is void where prohibited. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entrants participating during the Contest Period.
- By participating in the Contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this Contest, in any media now known or hereafter devised for advertising or promotional purposes without additional compensation and must sign a publicity release before acceptance of the prize. By entering this Contest, each participant agrees to comply with the Official Rules and the decisions of the Contest sponsor which shall be final and binding in all aspects relating to the Contest.
- All Contest winners will be required to sign a liability release before acceptance of any prize. Under the liability release, the winner or winners will agree to hold AMBI Enterprises, LLC., Instagram, TikTok, any other Contest parties and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies, officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of the foregoing, harmless against all claims or liability, directly or indirectly related to or arising from or in connection with Contest participation or the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of awarded Prize or any portion thereof, or participation in Prize-related activities, including but not limited to any related travel.
- AMBI Enterprises, LLC. retains the right to disqualify any entrant if all Contest rules are not followed. Contests void if prohibited by law.
- So long as no participant is materially adversely affected, AMBI Enterprises, LLC. reserves the right to make changes in these Contest rules, which will become effective upon being announced online.
- AMBI Enterprises, LLC., participating sponsors and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates or their representatives, agents and employees are not responsible for the inability of any entrant to complete or continue a telephone call, internet registration or text entry due to equipment malfunction, busy lines, inadvertent disconnections, unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP) or other connections, communication failures or human error that may occur in the transmission, receipt or processing of entries, including any injury or damage to any computer arising from or relating to participation in this Contest. Any use of robotic, macro, automatic, programmed or like entry methods will void all such entries and may subject that entrant to disqualification.
- By accepting the Prize, the Winner acknowledges that AMBI Enterprises, LLC. have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact, or law, relative to the prize or any portion thereof, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose.
- AMBI Enterprises, LLC., its subsidiaries, its affiliates, participating sponsors and promotional partners will not assume any responsibility for any changes in the execution of the Sweepstakes, including; cancellation of the Sweepstakes as a result of the occurrence of events, not within the control of AMBI Enterprises, LLC., the Company, its subsidiaries, affiliates, participating sponsors, promotional partners, such as acts of God, strikes, terrorists acts or criminal acts of third parties. In the event, such an act should occur, AMBI Enterprises, LLC. may in its sole discretion, offer the winner comparable prize(s) currently being offered by AMBI Enterprises, LLC. in place of the Prize originally awarded.
- If for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including without limitation, any suspected evidence of tampering or technological corruption or if any portion of the Contest is compromised by virus, bugs, worms or unauthorized human intervention, fraud, an insufficient number of qualified Giveaway entries, or any other causes beyond AMBI Enterprises, LLC’s, control which, in AMBI Enterprises, LLC’s sole opinion, corrupts, threatens or impairs the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, AMBI Enterprises, LLC. reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest at their sole discretion.
