GERMAINE BOLDS-LEFTRIDGE
Germaine Bolds-Leftridge is the “Queen Midas” of multicultural beauty brands. A multifaceted and passionate leader, Germaine has cemented herself as one of the premiere beauty brokers in the industry. She has guided brands to greatness with her commercial expertise representing brands through their growth process in the retail marketplace.
As a thirty-year veteran of the Black & Brown beauty space, Germaine delights in turning brand founders into multi-millionaires via her company GBL Sales, Inc., and The Ubiquitous Women’s Expo. Now legendary brands such as Bronner Bros., CURLDAZE, Curls Dynasty, Makeup Bullet, Luster Products, Mielle Organics, ORS Haircare, Oyin Handmade, and Taliah Waajid, have all celebrated continued success with her diligent sales & brand building efforts. Germaine’s credo is reflected in the GBL Sales philosophy, “Every client deserves and will receive quality, professional, courteous service, without exception.” This sincere “can do” attitude has made her the success she is today.
Germaine believes in pursuing passions with excellence. In 2014, she founded the Ubiquitous Women’s Expo dedicated to empowering and uplifting multicultural businesses. It has since catapulted to largest exposition for Black Women in the DMV area providing a platform for businesses to promote their brands and build an engaging community in the process.
In 2018, Germaine became co-owner of the legacy brand AMBI®, the skin tone authority and trusted staple for people of color. Leading with purpose and grace, Germaine launched her own skin care collection in 2021, IKnow Skincare Treatment Solutions devoted to fostering a new kind of relationship with skin care for women embracing their maturing stages of life.
Germaine earned her Bachelor of Science in business administration from Morgan State University in 1981 and is an active member of The Peoples' Community Baptist Church in Silver Spring, MD. An avid golfer, her skills have afforded her to be the 3-time Women's Golf Champion at Lakewood Country Club in Rockville, Maryland. In 2012, Germaine founded The Leftridge Family Foundation, a non-profit organization to benefit the education of underprivileged and at-risk minority boys. Germaine believes passionately in family, its legacy, passing down both wisdom and wealth to the next generation. She has been married to her husband for 43 years and is blessed with two children and three grandchildren.
